Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo wants to stay at the club. But wants the club to recognise his value on £150,000-a-week.

Mainoo is reportedly in talks to sign a new contract to replace his current one. Which runs out in 2027, with United having the option to extend it by a further 12 months.

The England international is said to be keen to stay at Old Trafford but also wants a salary that shows his value to the club. It

is believed that Mainoo is looking for around £150,000-a-week, despite currently earning just £20,000.

Chelsea have been keeping a close eye on the situation and see it as a possible move,

while United are well aware that selling Menu in the summer window would help to resolve their PSR breaches.

Menu is a product of the club’s youth system, meaning every penny of his transfer fee will be counted as 100 per cent of the profit.
