Inter Milan are reportedly keen to tie striker Marcus Thuram to a new contract in order to erase his €85 million release clause.

Thuram joined Inter on a free transfer in 2023. And formed an impressive partnership with Lautaro Martinez, helping the club to the Scudetto last season.

Thuram is currently the fourth-highest earner in the Nerazzurri, behind Hakan Calcanoglu, Nicolo Barella and Lautaro Martinez.

According to เล่นเกมคาสิโน UFABET ทันสมัย ฝากถอนง่าย Sport, the new deal could see the Frenchman overtake Barella and Calcanoglu on wages.

Thuram is contracted to Inter until 2028, so they are not too concerned about the length of his contract. What they are more concerned about is the release clause in his current deal.

While there are no links with an immediate move away from San Siro. There is a risk that another ‘top’ club in Europe becomes tempted into activating the release clause. If Inter remove it, then they remain in control of setting an asking price for any interested parties.

The 27-year-old has a €85m release clause, which is in line with his market value and, while there has been no transfer rumors. But the release clause makes him more likely to be snapped up by a top club, and

if Inter are successful in removing the clause. It would allow them to control Thuram’s price if he is approached by another club.
