AC Milan has been quick to clarify after reports emerged that the club had cut ties with its agent Mino Raiola. He is who has been in trouble over the case of Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Gazzetta dello Sport previously reported that Milan were negotiating a new contract with captain Alessio Romagnoli himself without agents of the players in the meeting. Because it does not allow Raiola to step on the Milanello Complex since the Donnarumma event last summer.

After the news came out, Milan had to quickly issue a statement to confirm the truth to appear.

“In relation to a message published today by Gazzetta dello Sport with the headline ‘Milan fires Raiola’. AC Milan would like to clarify that the club maintains a professional relationship with all gents without any conditions.”

Raiola, besides being Romanjoli’s agent. He is also the representative of Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

AC Milan have moved to deny press reports of banning agent Mino Raiola from the club.

Tension between Raiola and Milan fans has grown after Gigio Donnaruma’s departure for PSG last summer.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports Raiola is not allowed into the Milanello complex. Because of his role in Donnarumma leaving as a free agent.

However, yesterday afternoon Milan released a statement rejecting the claims.

The statement read: “With regards to the article published by the Gazzetta dello Sport today titled ‘Milan expel Raiola’. AC Milan would like to clarify that the Club maintains a professional rapport with all agents, without reservation.”
